Back in summer of 2007, after a three hour jamming taped, XYX members, both runners of their own labels, Nene Records and Penetración Cósmica Tapes, decided to start up a new project with distorted bass lines, a crazy drum set and vocals on delay. Months later they had more than enough tracks to show to the world, that Scott Soriano (S-s Records, Sacramento CA) heard of and quickly asked to edit into a 7″ record titled “Sistema de Terminación Sexual”. Their album debut on March 2008 has been reviewed on several weblogs around Europe and the U.S. In the meantime, while finishing the recordings of the LP, a second 7″ was released by Skulltones in March 09. This 7″ titled ‘Momento Ácido Contemporáneo’ is the perfect bridge between the raw sound of the first recordings and the full psychedelic madness of the soon to be released LP. Known for their chaotic performances and psychedelic appetite, XYX are building a weird shaped reputation everywhere.
